Question : when someone get divorce from civil marriage in Brazil, does that means he automatically get it from church
If someone got married in brazil, both civil and catholic marriage, he got divorce from the civil only, few years ago. Now he wants to get married again. does the divorce from the civil marriage means divorce from church too can he get married again in catholic church Thanks for all the answers

k im catholic in the states and have thought of this as well and from the information i received from the deacon is... drum rollllll...only after the civil marriage is signed and the court orders it over) not sure of the technical word) only then u can appeal to the church to have your marriage vows removed. but....yes there is a catch, u must disclose the reason/s of your divorce and if it conflicts on your part as to the teachings in a catholic marriage and your responsibilities to the marriage they have the right to not honor your request. and lying to the church is of course not an option for self benefit.not saying u would lie just saying.hoped i helped sumcould u ans mine..http://answers.yahoo.com/question

Question : how long does it takes to get a divorce in brazil
my friend got married with a brazilian woman in brazil due to the fact that she got deported from miami in 2005. He traveled to brazil to the embassy to get her paper fixed but i guess he couldn't do anything b/c he always returns without her. What do you guys think about that do you think that she could get her papers to come back to usa even though she was deported she married him b/c he is a white american citizen man to fix her papers what do you guys think
